Whether you are beginning or continuing your application, our comprehensive online portal provides all necessary information and resources. Our Admissions team provides personalized guidance throughout the entire process.

While individual programs maintain specific admission requirements and procedures, our overall admissions process includes the following components:

If you are ready to pursue a degree program at Denver Seminary whether a Master of Divinity, Master of Arts, Master of Theology, Certificate, or Doctor of Ministry we invite you to apply as a degree-seeking student through our general application.

If you are hoping to be accepted to the Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision program, you will need to apply as a degree-seeking student using our PhD application.

If you have attended Denver Seminary in the past and are ready to return, we’re glad to hear that! As a re-entry student, you are able to complete a shorter application process.If you are hoping to be accepted to the Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision program, you will need to apply as a degree-seeking student using our PhD application.

Application & Admission Process

If you would just like to take a few classes with us for credit, you can apply as a non-degree seeking student. This is a great option for people who aren’t ready to commit to a degree but would like to get their feet wet.

Application & Admission Process

Auditing students don’t receive credit for their classes but the audited courses do show up on your Denver Seminary transcript. This is a great option for people who want to take courses for personal development but don’t need to earn a grade.

If you do not have a bachelor’s degree, you may qualify for our Undergraduate Degree Exemption (UDE) process. UDE candidates can apply for our Master of Divinity, Master of Arts, and certificate programs. Contact us to learn more about your eligibility and explore these transformative educational opportunities.

 

UDE candidates may not apply for the Master of Arts in Counseling, Theology, New Testament, or Old Testament.

Continuing student registration:

  • March 29, 2027: Open for continuing students with 75% or more credits completed of total required.
  • March 30, 2027: Open for continuing students with 50-74.99% credits completed of total required.
  • March 31, 2027: Open for continuing students with 25-49.99% credits completed of total required.
  • April 1, 2027: Open for continuing students with 24.99% or less credits completed of total required.
  • April 2, 2027: Open for all continuing students.

Admissions Deadlines

DMin applications are reviewed as soon as all materials have been received. Completed applications for English-language programs are due September 15 for winter entry. Korean-language applications are due March 15 for summer entry and September 15 for winter entry. If space is available, applications will be considered on a rolling basis after these dates.
